I thought that book was really great. I like Epsteins books (Range is another great one of his) and I found this book to be really interesting. If nothing else, it highlighted just how unbelievably complex human genetics really is, and how little we know despite so many incredible advancements in science and medicine. It feels like we barely have scratched the surface of what there is to know. It didn’t make the book any less enjoyable (for anyone thinking the result of the book would be a definitive statement on what genes cause athletic abilities). Really well researched and written.
One section I thought was great was the MLB batters going against the softball pitcher and how they all struck out, because all the cues they normally relied on going against MLB pitchers suddenly vanished.
