U2. Many many popular bands use delay guitar effects sounding like the Edge

The Adam Clayton style bass synced to the drum beat synced to Edge's delay has become really common for tons of current artists or artists of the last 20 years. It seems like nearly every concert I go to or rock artist I read about, the artist has talked about being inspired by U2.
