They are way more efficient throughout lifecycle - all up including the cost

of raw materials, manufacturing, etc. Cradle to grave EVs cost less to own.

The biggest barriers I see to widespread adoption relate to availability/cost of EVs and the dogmatic resistance/skepticism surrounding their benefits. They're too expensive right now for most people and many folks seem to equate them with a certain political stance.

EVs don't need subsidies - the problem isn't demand it is supply.
