I just had meniscus surgery

4 weeks I could mountain bike 20 miles and play full court basketball. Although as has been mentioned that is with a meniscectomy. With a repair the recovery is much longer. Like 2-3 months. I highly doubt they proceed with repair.

When young, I tore mine, had surgery and ran in a track meet the next week.

Yes, young healthy son had 2 tears with stitches. Probably 3-4 months
