I would take a deeper dive into the cards, check out some of the AMEX cards, capital one venture and chase sapphire
Unless you are just chasing Delta status, and want to stick almost exclusively on Delta.
I am still a big fan of the chase sapphire reserve, it’s my primary credit card. I find it very easy to redeem points and I can transfer them to any airline I want. Their website is very easy to book travel through, and the prices are the same as on Google, etc.
The points are worth 1.5 the value of most other credit cards which I like.
The annual fee is steep, $550, But you get a $300 travel credit every year. So for example the rental car I booked in January, I got refunded $300 of the cost to my bill. You also get free global entry/TSA pre-check and free Priority Pass lounge access.
Lots of people also like to chase sapphire preferred because it has a much lower fee, but I stick with the reserve because it has more points per spend, higher redemption rate and the travel credit.
