lets acknowledge that the Rock is no true authority on this argument. If anything he has lower credibility than your average human. He has a super regimented diet and one cheat day a week. Anyone who has dieted that intensely should know that anything you have not been able to eat tastes really good regardless of the quality. I have a family member who cuts most sugar so she thinks that things like brownies made with apple sauce and other substitutes tastes equivalent... they don't. I'm not saying these fries can't be considered good, just that the Rock's cheat day opinion on them is suspect.
