If B1G takes a few more PAC schools, the rest will seek refuge in B12. Four conferences will remain but B1G will be alone at superconference size. B12 and SEC will be under 20 teams.

SEC will move to grow to match B1G’s size by poaching ACC heavyweights. They will get first choice. But again, ACC leftovers will seek refuge in the only remaining power conference available — B12.

B12 will be in third place with third place TV money but it’ll still be in the game for national playoffs. All three will be superconference size.
