Heard a lot of good about him in fall camp too.
Love seeing that kind of player development. He was always talented, but getting better and better.
Would love to see him play in the NFL.

Seems like he has an NFL-caliber motor. He absolutely flies around the field, and hits so hard.

You should have seen him in spring practices.

Scouts took note of the game against Baylor. He was the player of the game in my opinion. All over the field

He and Pili had some huge hits.

I'm surprised to hear he only weigh 215. I am not sure he is quick enough to

The NFL is getting smaller and smaller. Fred Warner is the prototypical LB at 230 lbs. If Max could get back

Sure hope so. Fred doesn't look too heavy, but he is 6'3".

And also leading tackler Bywater

I think Bywater is the least athetically gifted, which says a lot about the LBs

Bywater looks more athletic than wilgar to me. I could be wrong

Yeah Wilgar's injuries have hobbled him a bit. Both him and Tooley came on

SO impressed with him. On and off the field

We are going to need him to on the edges against Oregon

This is right. Both Tooley and Pili will need to tackle people in space

They don't appear to have problems doing so.

My worry is Bywater. Hopefully he has improved a lot since last year in playing in space.

Led the team in tackles last year iirc

I'm aware. He was also ranked around 700 out of 800 LBers in FBS

Man, imagine if he didn't make those 102 tackles. Our defense would have been

Am I the only one that was concerned about him getting ejected for targeting

I thought it looked fine. You never know these days though.

True. Maybe I still just have PTSD from that stupid series of calls against

I was a little worried, but I don't think they call it on between the tackles
