I booked a trip for Mrs CBass and myself for December to Costa Rica at a resort on a package deal from CostcoTravel. Flight is with Alaska Air. Alaska has changed their flight to a red eye. This means I need to change my resort reservation because I'm arriving a day later now. Also, we're arriving at 6am so we won't have access to our rooms for several hours. Thanks Alaska.

I can change the resort reservation and extend it a day but it will cost an extra $400, maybe Alaska will pay that but I doubt it. Alaska will change or refund the flight at no charge.

Or I could just scrap the whole plan and go to some other places we've talked about like Cancun or Maui. Any thoughts?
