I’m really happy with the state of the program under Kalani and I do believe we are going to win 10 games this year.
It’s just really hard to beat programs with top 20 talent consistently, and we don’t quite have the talent to do that, especially when we’re missing some key players.
I fully expect BYU to go out and win the games it’s supposed to win, the program is in a much better place than it was even a couple years ago.
I didn’t think we were going to get boat raced in the first half, I didn’t really see that coming. But I thought this would be the hardest game of the season to win.
Arkansas will present a similar challenge, But I’m not worried about Notre Dame
If BYU wants to take that next step and truly challenge to have undefeated seasons especially in a power five conference the recruiting game just simply needs to improve. Or we are headed for 7 to 9 win seasons, which, honestly is not the end of the world.
But I don’t think that’s where BYU is headed, I think we will get better and better, and recruiting will improve, we will need more depth to win these types of games week in and week out.
If you think BYU can put up undefeated seasons against this type of schedule with recruiting classes in the 60s you are borderline crazy, and expecting way too much from the program. A program that is already over achieving.
I for one I’m gonna enjoy another good season, I love that we are winning 10 games a year regularly…we are in a good place.
