Likelihood is that his will not be the last or worst instance
The way the transfer rules are drawn, the lure of perceived greener pastures is ever present. Each player is essentially an unrestricted free agent at all times. Some kids will jump ship
While I don’t like the move, something like it will happen again. I expect there will be more painful transfers than this one so long as the current rules persist.
Holker will be forgotten at best but, more likely, will be something of a pariah among BYU fans for the midsession defection. Can’t imagine what this does to his relationships and reputation among his teammates. It would seem he’s willing to burn all of those things to the ground in hopes of becoming the oldest tight end in the NFL draft in 2025. See you around kid.

I think it is more about the lack of TE productivity over the last season and a half (really 3 games).
