I agree generally with what you’re saying, but it’s also possible this is

a completely different situation. Maybe he wasn’t promised anything. Maybe his expectations for playing time and usage were all self-created. Maybe he didn’t have a heart-to-heart with the coaches about his perception of how things are.

As you say, we don’t know, so it’s kind of silly to lay out a situation that did happen with your daughter and base any conclusions about Holker on it.
