Close call on StubHub
This summer me and my older brother made plans to drive down for the Wyoming game tonight along with our kids. I bought tickets on StubHub back in August.

Fast forward to this week. I start making arrangements for the game - hotels, etc. I go out to my StubHub app and it says the tickets will be available on Thursday the 22nd. Cutting it a little bit close, I thought, but I’ve never had problems with StubHub before, so I wasn’t concerned.

By last night, I still hadn’t received the tickets, so I called StubHub. Since it wasn’t “the day of my event”, I was asked to leave a message. I did so and went to bed. Woke up and checked my account this morning, STILL no tickets.

Called StubHub again. The rep pulled up the order -“Yes, I see that on Thursday we were unable to deliver the tickets to your account due to problems with availability”.

Me -“Uh, should I have got a message or something”.

Her - “Yes, and I’m so sorry but it looks like that message was not sent”. She then explained that due to the “Fan Guarantee” they could either refund my money or MAYBE find replacement tickets for me. After about 4 long minutes on hold, she came back and said that I had exactly ONE choice of replacements (which fortunately were slightly better than the tickets I’d purchased).

Anyway, I feel like it turned out fine, but can’t help but wonder if it had been 8 adjacent tickets for Baylor or Arkansas I probably would not have been so lucky.
