A coach made the decision to never kick a field goal and to never kick an extra point. So, instead, when they get close to FG territory, they know they've got 4 downs to get a 1st down. And, in addition, they spend quite a bit of time practicing a variety to plays for 2-point conversions, so they get really good at it.
Would it end up being a net positive? I'd like to see someone adopt that philosophy and work hard at it, and see what happens.
