40% of respondents would accept a loss in order to fire Tuiaki. 40% would ruin what is likely to be a good year and a 9, 10, or 11 win team, to get rid of him.

Look, I understand not being happy with the defensive performance. But this is insane. Even if you absolutely despise Tuiaki, hasn't it become clear yet that he and Kalani are 100% aligned, and he's running the defense how Kalani wants him?

Cougarboard generally loves Kalani, but hates Tuiaki. Why? Kalani *is* Tuiaki. They are probably about as much "one in purpose" as (two distinct beings who are completely united on how things should be run).

No, the defense did not play well in the first half yesterday (played much better in the 2nd half, after half time adjustments. If it weren't for AWD officiating, defense probably only gives up 10 points in first half and zero in second half). But what do you think firing Tuiaki is going to do? What do you really think it'll accomplish? Even if you just hate the guy *that* much, all it'll accomplish is frustrate Kalani. Now he's gotta go out and find a new guy to run his defense the way that he wants it to be run. Kalani will probably be frustrated and see it as a huge step back. He'll probably hire someone internal on the team that he already has some good experience with and trusts (one of the position coaches).

This poll doesn't say as much about Tuiaki, or the performance of the defense in the first half, as much as it does the irrational hatred from Cougarboard for the man, and especially during game time.
