CB healthcare folks - wife cut off small piece of finger tip - how to treat?
HCBW was using a mandolin on some veggies and she accidentally cut her finger. Actually cut off a small slice from the side of her fingertip - the part that was shaved off is probably about a quarter inch oval and maybe a bit over an eighth of an inch "deep".

Can't get the bleeding to stop with ice, evelvation and pressure. I don't feel like this piece is big enough that it would be reattached, but I don't think we can properly stop the bleeding without going to an urgent care. Would an urgent care or similar be the right way to go? Or is there some way to effectively manage this at home?

The interwebs don't help a ton for this particular scenario, so I thought I'd grab a few thoughts here before just heading to a clinic.

Thanks for any possible guidance.
