One was a football game: BYU vs Utah State in 2018. The team looked flat, uninspired, unprepared and uninterested. So I thought, "If they don't want to be here, I'm not going to be here."
The other was a basketball game: BYU vs. New Mexico in 2011. The Brandon Davies news just hit, and Jimmer and BYU were just dominated by the Lobos. I was in such a deep, dark funk. I couldn't stand to be there that night, so I left shortly after halftime.
