Folks, I follow the GBH approach to events. I don't enjoy being caught in a crowd when I can avoid it, so I always leave FB and BB games with about 3 minutes left (the exception to the GBH approach, I never have left a drive-in movie early (as noted in his book). You were never dealing with that much traffic.).

There have been exceptions when the game is in question--I stay. Especially if it is the caliber of a game where there is a possibility of rushing the field or court. Outside of that, I listen to the game as I walk out on my iPhone and I tape the games and rewatch them when I return home. It's just how I have always rolled. It makes it better for all of you that stay to the very end as there is one less car ahead of you.

So it's okay you have walked out early twice and you're not going to hades.

In total honesty, I have more of a problem of those who arrive late for games. I still don't understand that. Last game, one couple very near our seats arrived at 9pm, and one other at 9:30pm. It's hard for me to believe that they were that busy that late in the evening that they couldn't have gotten there earlier, but I was in seats I purchased on KSL, so I didn't know if this was a reoccurring issue for both of those couples or an isolated event, but I'll never cease to be amazed at how many people, through the years, that I have seen coming late to games.
