And that movie, ironically, is Hook starring Robin Williams and Dustin Hoffman. It is nearly perfect in it's depiction of big law:
1. Clients / deals interrupting constantly, particularly family time.
2. Promising to be on time and not being on time.
3. Family being disappointed / making you feel guilty.
4. When working away from the office, having kids interrupt important calls and no one taking a hint until you really lose it.
5. Disparagement of the profession by loved ones.
As for Partner Track, I can forgive the script writers for an unrealistic depiction of a profession. However, it is the absolute dumbest and worst show ever made, they couldn't have made a worse show if they deliberately set out to do so.
