working at a medical clinic in Marrakesh. Got to know several local people by working side by side with them. They were very accepting and pleasant to be around. We did some tourist things as well and enjoyed everything about the trip.

My friend who had gone previously to Marrakesh to work told me it is much safer than bit American cities such as Chicago and I agree with him. I wandered the streets sometimes alone and never felt a threat.
