Yorkmark is pretty adament that schools would need to be "additive"
He's said that numerous times. I don't think he's interested in someone coming in that is willing to take a discount. He wants upside to exist within that expansion option.
Tiered payouts are bad business to begin with and these schools don't really add footprint/brand/revenue he is looking for. Non-starter IMO.
You might be able to make the case for SDSU since they do bring in a new and valuable footprint. But I would steer clear of them as well. They are filling their brand new football stadium at 1/3rd capacity on a beautiful SoCal day. No thanks.
