I thought I needed to takeoff the light fixture and add the receptacle. Went to Home Depot. Asked someone for help and bought the parts. I didn’t like what I had. I went back to Home Depot talk to a second guy and the second guy said hey if you already have a light installed up there why not just use the plug that actually screws into the lightbulb spot. It’s amazing what a little bit of knowledge of the do.
