Maybe there should be a judgement call by refs?
A 50 yard penalty is brutal when it’s an iffy call and the DB/WR are hand-fighting, etc. it’s especially painful and game-changing when it’s a Whig by the refs.
Maybe the spot foul is reserved when a DB is clearly beat and just tackles the receiver to prevent a TD.
