Like.. we all know about the Costco hotdog burps. It’s kind of amazing in some ways. 🙂

- convenience
- price

I think there’s a number of factors to price.

Yes, there’s the factor that the food prices are dirt cheap by fast food standards ( I worked in various positions ( food court was one ) in my teens and I want to say even back then they weren’t making much off the hotdogs ( like 10 cents.. maybe a quarter )

It seems to me that Costco keeps the food court items cheap because it can provide comfort to a shopper after shopping.

You don’t feel so bad spending hundreds of dollars when you can go instantly comfort yourself with a cheap hotdog, pizza or whatever.
