I'm torn, to be honest.
I want my kids to be able to afford a home at some point. The way prices have been jumping, that was going to be tough for them.
At the same time, I don't love the idea of losing all of my own equity.
I've heard home prices are going to tank since the 90's. Yeah, there were some markets where it actually happened in Utah back in 2008 - like St George. But along the Wasatch Front I remember looking at home prices at the time and it seemed like for homes in my price range it was much more of home pricing stagnation than home prices dropping.
