Again, it totally depends on how you road trip
I have little kids so the idea of driving more than two hours without a stop is very rare.
When tripping in an EV I go in and eat at sit down places rather than just drive thrus and eating while I drive. Which I actually prefer that it forces me to do that.
Makes you enjoy the road trip a little more rather than just trying to get done driving as soon as possible.

Stopping 4 times and waiting 1 hour and 40 min (assuming no lines) sounds ridiculous. Particularly in the desert.
