As others have alluded to, I think the definition of comfortable varies greatly
Seems like to many people at least in my circles, comfortable = Beautiful forever home, new cars, several "instagramable" vactions per year, eating out several times per week and a dump truck of cash to fall back on if anything unexpected comes up. Essentially, comfort = wealth to many.
