That was such a dumb move. If he'd have just acted like a normal, likable guy
and said something like, "Yes, I absolutely let the defense down. We have a championship caliber D and my side of the ball is not doing our part. That starts with me. I have to be better (blah, blah, blah)..." I'm thinking he might have been able to create enough goodwill with coaches and teammates to buy himself another week or two to try to turn things around.
