BYU needs PGs more importantly than bigs…
…the 2019-20 season showed that. It was easily Pope’s best team yet one that lacked big men but had a really good PG running the show.

The NBA shows that as well. Last year’s NBA title teams both ran with small lineups. This past off-season, in an effort to get better, Boston didn’t go get a big man, their top priority was getting another PG (Malcolm Brogdan) and a small forward with length who can help them space the floor (Gallinari).
