friend means that no coach is safe. The guy also fired Ty freaking Detmer, so he's clearly got the stones to make tough personnel decisions when he needs to. And I have no problem with most of the assistants being replaced.
Apart from ARod, Fesi, and whoever they and the new DC want to retain, I have no issue with all others being replaced. This was not supposed to be a rebuilding year, and the WRs were the only position group that consistently performed at a high level this season. And even in retaining ARod and Fesi, I think they should bring in a QB coach and a run game coordinator.
If any replaced coaches are good and persistent enough, I'm sure they'll find a landing spot somewhere else. It sucks in some ways, but it's the nature of their chosen profession (and many other professions).
