If you don't use some type of gas additive... the Ethanol will gunk up your carburetor.
Good news... you can buy a new carburetor off amazon for like $20. Its easier to swap out a new one than clean out the old one.

Perhaps. I assume it’s been properly oiled? How old is the gas?

Is there gas from last year? If so empty it out and get new gas.

I put gas in it but with fuel stabilizer. I guess it didn't work.

There is nothing more satisfying than doing all of that yourself for under $20.

Try either "Sea Foam" or "Mechanic in a Bottle"

If you're smelling gas, you might have primed it a bit too much. Let it sit for 10 min and try again without
