People have pointed out the lack of LDS talent in college hoops right now. I believe that's the biggest issue with BYU right now. I also see Pope recruiting really hard to make up for it, but it hasn't worked out so well this season. Sure, there are some coaching deficiencies you can point to, but I don't see any other coach having a better year at BYU than Pope this year if you were to replace him.
