We'd go play every p-day, usually with my Venezuela comps so we also ended up playing futbolito. But, seeing a 6'5" skinny blonde white kid playing hoops on a main road through town attracted a lot of pickup game interest. When I got there, the branch had no active priests. By the time I left, there was an active quorum of kids who were very doing well - prepping and blessing sacrament every week, meeting with branch president for quorum lessons every week and talking about missions after they finished school. There was about 5-6 newly baptized active kids that all heard about the Church from coming to play ball with me on P-days
