His wife had been in the hospital following months of medical difficulties. She was visiting a friend she made in the hospital, and her friend’s brother (released from a mental health institute the morning before) stabbed her about 30 times when she rejected him. He’s currently incarcerated pending trial, and his sister has lost her marbles. The sister was also attacked when she tried to defend my client's wife.

I don't even know what to say to this man.

Further reason why I am always carrying and encourage my wife to at least carry pepper spray.

We have a mental health problem in this country and whatever is being done isn't working.
