Corn Pop Intervention Needed
About Purdy nearly costing the Niners a FG attempt before the half:
A lot of talk at the time about him being a rookie and basically doesn't have enough snaps yet to know better.

He started 46 games at ISU and who knows how many HS games before that. Are you really telling me that he never once, in all of those college starts, had to manage the clock right before the half?

There are a ton of things that a rookie NFL QB has to learn, but knowing you don't have time to slowly scramble to your right on a play that began with less 6 seconds on the game clock because you know you'd at least want to be able to kick a FG shouldn't be one of them.

Purdy's getting lots of accolades and deservedly so, but that was a really dumb play that nearly cost his team points and there really isn't an excuse for him not knowing better.
