I got a call at work from the police. They said a passenger on TRAX witnessed the hit & run.. officers showed up.. looked up my plates.. and somehow found my cell number (kind of spooky and cool at the same time).

The officer that called gave me the report numbers, his number, and everything I needed for insurance.

I asked if they found the guy... his response was basically 'it's not worth our time to go through the security video and try to track down the other car'.

I had to pay my $500 deductible and was without a car for about 3 weeks.
