Spoken like a person who isn't in tune with market dynamics during COVID years
I know to very well respected Fortune 50 companies that were so desperate that they were basically telling employees what they want and offering it.
Said in role starting position was $150k but we're bring people on at almost double that to get them.
Now the tables have turned and these same employees are getting axed because they can hire other back at lower salaries.
