There’s a fundamental difference between “the truth” and “my truth.”

Calling something “the truth” can be debated, proven or disproven in many cases, and objective standards can be applied.

“My truth” thrives where objectivity is discarded. It is undebatable, and demands acceptance as equal to “the truth” without actually having to be true.
