My wife and I are planning a trip to Italy. I thought it would be cool to be
able to read some of the Latin inscriptions.
As I begin to tackle 3rd declension nouns (which for some reason the teacher is teaching us first), I kind of wish I had paid a bit of attention in English class when we were supposed to learn parts of speech. Anyone know of a good remedial primer on such things?

Even knowing Latin the inscriptions are frequently tough to decipher as they contain a lot of abbreviations.
