I met Lavell and his wife that game. Never forget that day.
Just sitting on a bench outside the stadium. What a good guy he was…
touring ND was special. The seats in the stadium were literally 30 year old 2x6’s and if you didn’t get there early. Someone’s blanket was covering your seats…. But, it was a really cool experience.

Been to two games there in the last 10 years. Honestly, the game day atmosphere was underwhelming compared to Arkansas.
