It's how perception is reality. People are terrified of a huge repair. Once they hit 60k miles they tank. They tank
again at 100k.
If you can find one with full records and around 80-100k on the odometer you get a ton of car for the $$. I'm not as sure if they are as easy to DIY as they used to be with the newer motors now. Maybe there is a reason to be nervous.
