opponent's momentum is the biggest one for me. Late game rotations, I would agree, is another. But coaches aren't static. They develop too. Also, I think some of the issues with late game rotations have to do with our guys being gassed after having given everything they have to keep us in some of these games. That, IMO, is partly a quality of depth and experience issue.
