I was helping my BIL move some stuff from one place to another and all of a sudden, he said, "Hey, I want you to have this. Every time I see it, it reminds me of (his teenage son who died in ATV accident a few years ago) and for some reason it just hurts.
I said, I can't take that man. Etc, etc. He said, no seriously I want you to. You'll appreciate it.
I thanked him and told him if he ever wants it back, he's more than welcome to it. I'll just store it until then. He said, That's a deal.
So with that, I'm sitting here in my home office with the Taysom helmet on my shelf. I love it but I actually hope someday he wants it back.
