My kid was that kid a few years ago. He can't sit still and when his friends
and cousins wanted to watch TV or play video games, he just wanted to be outside skateboarding, doing flips on the trampoline, running football routes, playing hoops, etc.
The good news is that he doesn't have a hard time getting on the same page with his friends now when it comes to deciding how to spend their time. He still loves being active and is still a total sports nut and works hard to pull his friends off the couch. The bad news is that he learned to love Fortnite too and would play for hours if we let him (which we don't).
