Coaches say they hate it but then offer kids without ever seeing them play real
Football. They can't be doing that based on size alone.

I'm torn on it.

There's a new league that is starting this spring here in Utah that is supposed to be that you only play with your school. I like it for getting reps with your QB/WRs but it isn't real football, in the end.

These super teams can distract from working with your teammates. But you play against a lot of really good athletes. We won't do a full offseason of these. My son's on a team that let's him do 2-3. It's fun and a decent way to see top level competition but it's still not football.

My son does individual training for position and speed. He went to a showcase this weekend. I wasn't going to have him do it but we got a discount so we did. Where it was helpful is that he got to apply his training to come competitive situations.

Offseason football training, 7on7, etc is definitely getting expensive and expected. I'm just trying to help my son improve the best he can because he has goals. I say no to a lot of stuff and I feel like I'm being bled dry but he's working hard and learning to learn in ways he struggles to do in school.
