Got it. Different where we are, football has been more expensive.
We are $300 an hour for turf space, $150 per hour coaching....hopefully getting WR's to help split the turf space. The sign-ups for the clubs/training is not expensive, it is the 10 national tournaments (Miami, CA, LV etc that adds up). I don't mind the cost, but just a lot of time away from other sports. National invites to camps, then speed and conditioning ($100+ per hour). I bet we spend $30k+ in football all in this year, maybe more (excluding the prep school that recruited in my son)...I don't want to even add it up.

My daughters travel soccer is nothing close to this.

We have done travel lax, stopped it. Per friends, it is only $4k per year (not including travel). Most is all east coast, so more local. So a lot less.
