The club team hits year round?
I am all in for the year round training, S&C, and even 7v7 but I don't see how year round hitting is a good thing.
We did the all star FBU stuff post season (only in middle school) and that felt like a lot. Our prep school coach said to avoid the spring hitting leagues/clubs, no real benefit and potential injury (maybe it is different if coached by your HS coaches). Our coaches want the boys in one other secondary sport.
The cost is not crazy here, you can to that contact stuff for $4k per season.
