My son is a power hitter with a high contact rate. He's reached out to BYU multiple times, even attended camp where he just obliterated the ball, but he has never gotten any response. This fall he played JUCO and D2 programs and averaged upper 300s. Guess hitting just isn't a priority for them when they recruit.
