He was assigned to Kansas City with his friend, the other two tried Oklahoma.
My son is a triple A personality outgoing guy. It was brutally hard, they would celebrate 1 sale in 12 hours knocking doors, while getting harassed a lot. He made 30k and didn’t have to work during his next year at BYU.
His friend staying with him quit after 2 weeks and went home having lost money.
His friends in Oklahoma had a real hard time, one knocked on a door and thought he heard a “come in” so he stepped inside, and the woman there who was crazy called the police and he was charged with attempted rape. By chance his Judge was an LDS classmate of mine from OU and we were able to get it dismissed, eventually. Big loss of money.
His other friend broke down in a deep depression after a few weeks and had to be hospitalized in a local psychiatric hospital for a few weeks. Very expensive bill for all that.
So about 25% made money but none of them ever did it again.
