He done some other hikes in Altras. He preferred the grip that Xeros provided.
That is, he felt his foot connected to the ground better than in the Altra’s thick soles.
He went from Salomon boots to Salomon low tops to Altras to Xeros. Wore through 2.5 pair on the trail.
